Here we are with the second part of my weekend spent with my camera. You are already excited isn't it? Anyway, let me go through this thing, I've done a part one and now I can't just skip the second part. So, Sundayyy!
On that day my girlfriend has to work for a few hours in Malahide, so I decided to be a nice boyfriend, and I went there to take some photos, so when she finished I was there, but before that, I wondered around that area trying to find something interesting to snap. Originally I meant to go to a point, not too far away from the town centre, where I could see the bridge that connect Malahide and Donabate, which it looks pretty interesting to photograph, but unfortunately that point is in a private area, so I had to give up.

Then I was hoping to get some nice long exposure in the sea, but with the low tide there were nothing really interesting to photograph, well, at least not like I wanted, and after a few shots like these ones...

... which are just all right, so at the end I took some pictures of the street in front of the shop where my girlfriend was working, and of course the usual train shot.

So far the weekend was just disappointing, not a bloody "wow" photo, not even close.
But to be fair, this happens more than often, go out, sometimes with an already planned shot in your head, spend hours with a heavy backpack and a heavy tripod, and come back home with almost nothing or no decent shots at all. If you think that everytime you go out and you come back with a great shot, you are terribly wrong. Failures are way more than successes, but the few times you succeed, it pays off all your efforts.
So, Monday, again with my camera and my tripod, I went to city centre, trying to do some long exposure on a sunny day, but also to scout a couple of places (which I'm going to talk in the next article). And at the end, that afternoon produced just this good shot, not amazing, but better than the previous days.

Then I went back home thinking that I had enough. But it's never enough, and after dinner, as the sunset in this time of the year is pretty late in Dublin, me and my girlfriend decided to go for a walk close to our place, and we walk to a part of Grand Canal Dock that I've never seen, I meant to go there ages ago but never found the time or the right weather, but that day, the sky was perfectly clear, and I was in the right moment of the day, which it's called the "Golden Hour", the best moment of the day for landscapes, and even for portraits IMHO, and there I got the shots I was looking for the entire weekend!
